Florida cop sentenced to 25 years for fatal shooting of Black musician

Nouman Raja, a former Florida policeman, was handed a 25-year prison sentence for killing a Black musician whose car had broken down on the side of the highway. Raja is a former Palm Beach Gardens police officer who was in plainclothes as he investigated an auto burglary when he spotted Corey Jones’ SUV at 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 18, 2015, The Daily Mail reports.
